Why An' What's the Reason For?
The gang started meeting in Sydney in 1992, in the afterglow of Bob's State Theatre shows that year. We’re a friendly group of Dylan enthusiasts and the “meetings” consist of chat, news, music, a lot of laughs, a few drinks, more music and chat. Usually there are a few guitars and other instruments brought along, as well as a CD player for the latest musical missive from Bob. As well as the meetings, we've organised three Dylan conventions. It’s a very diverse group in age, gender, background – some of us even like Under the Red Sky. Casual or newer fans should not feel intimidated but if you want a stoush about the exact tuning he used during Oh Sister in Boston, 1981 – well, we can provide that too.We’re just a friendly bunch of music lovers brought together by the greatest artist of the 20th Century.
